« Summer 1971, my family goes to Cannes to spend the holidays. My grand-father is selling psychedelic hand printed shirts from India on the beach, meanwhile my grandmother sunbathes with her children in her oversized sunglasses.

These pictures I see are poetically nostalgic. Everything feels more beautiful than today. As if sadness didn’t exist; positivity triumphs. Fashion is colorful for everyone, for every age. My father is a baby, and is only dressed in stripes, of all colors and sizes, with matching striped hats; it was already a summer staple.

Finding these pictures, and living these moments by proxy is a luck I feel extremely grateful for.

This collection is a tribute to this beautiful summer. »
